Group activity

Today we read a passage and were supposed to answer questions as a group. This is to improve our skills for future tests on reading and answering questions based on analyzing the text. It was a monday but Im eager to get this week over with for spring break.

 Today we worked on another assignment on Newsela. Today's passage was about how select fast-food industries are violating labor laws. I had no idea that this was a big problem let alone a problem at all. I learned something new and answering the questions was pretty easy. Someone I knew, died today. He and I didn't really get along, but I would never wish this upon anyone. It hasn't been an easy year, so many of my classmates are dying. I will never forget the impact each of them have had on my life.  Rest In Peace, Guillermo.

poem presentation- Monday Nov 6

 Today we presented our poems we wrote. Mine took me a little longer than the hour we were given in class, I had worked on it all day when it was assigned. I think it came out alright but I was so tired. I was messing up my speech because I couldn't think straight. I like writing poetry, so I love when we are assigned things to do with poetry.
