My Poem "The Chains of Depression"

Deep in shadows, where sunlight does not tread,

Is a silent storm of thoughts, a heavy dread,

Depression's grip, a weight on the soul,

A vast darkness, where broken spirits stroll.

The world turns gray, a canvas cold and bleak,

As tears like raindrops trace down salt-stained cheeks,

A lonely heart, in solitude it weeps,

In silent agony, the feeling keeps.

Chains of sorrow bind the spirit tight,

As day by day, we struggle through the night,

But in the depths, a flame of hope remains,

A spark of strength to break these heavy chains.

In the darkest hour, a light may shine,

A lovers embrace, a love so divine,

A ray of hope, a smile that warms the heart,

Can mend the broken, and pave a fresh start.

Though depression's storm may rage and roar,

Within our hearts, there's strength to soar,

With empathy, compassion, love, and care,

We'll find the strength to heal, and breathe fresh air.

So let us soar together, hand in hand,

To fight the darkness, and help each other stand,

For in the unity of hearts and minds,

We'll break the chains, leaving depression behind.

With time and care, the clouds shall fade away,

And in the sun's embrace, we'll find our way,

To brighter days where laughter forever sings,

Where hope and joy replace our heavy wings.

In the canvas of life, where colors blend,

Depression will find its bittersweet end,

With our strength and love, we will prevail,

And in our hearts, a brighter future, will unveil.
