 Today we worked on another assignment on Newsela. Today's passage was about how select fast-food industries are violating labor laws. I had no idea that this was a big problem let alone a problem at all. I learned something new and answering the questions was pretty easy. Someone I knew, died today. He and I didn't really get along, but I would never wish this upon anyone. It hasn't been an easy year, so many of my classmates are dying. I will never forget the impact each of them have had on my life.
